Give to Your Customers a Wonderful Ride

[The following is something I wrote for this week's Inner Circle newsletter for our Dolce Mia Designer Reps.]

Hi Reps!

I wanted to use my space here to share a terrific Forum post from this week, by Dandrea Margaret. Not only is the content of the post inspiring but it echoes several things we’ve been talking about lately, one of which is that the simple act of sharing your Dolce Mia product and your Dolce Mia life with as many people as possible as being one of the cornerstones of your business growth.

Because everyone who tries Dolce Mia loves it, and as Dandrea points out everyone who sees it loves it too, your job of adding new people to, and strengthening your customer base becomes simple: just show, share, and let them try. The only time we’ve ever seen Dolce Mia not do well in a retail setting is when customers can’t smell the fragrances, and in the case of lotions and hand cleansers, can’t try the product. Our designs attract a lot of attention wherever they go, but what is sure to push your customers over the buy hump is the experience of smelling and feeling.

So open your doors for business as wide as possible all the time by keeping some product always with you, and having plenty of samples to share at your events, consignment or retail outlets, and your business will grow “without any effort at all.”

Hello Everyone

This week I was fortunate enough to attend an event where I had donated some Dolce Mia products for a raffle. While many of you may already know about this way to run a raffle, I wanted to share what I saw in case the idea can help any of you.

Each raffle item was displayed with a pretty cup next to the item. Instead of putting all the raffle tickets into 1 big “hat” to draw winners from, each person who purchased a raffle ticket was given both parts of the ticket and asked to put 1/2 of their ticket into the cup in front of the item(s) they most wanted to win. People were so excited and ended up purchasing many more tickets than they originally intended to purchase because of the increased odds of winning the exact item they wanted.

And, I also wanted to share that the cup in front of the Dolce Mia donation was overflowing!

Hope everyone is having a great week and I hope this post helps to make your next event even more fun.

Kindly,

Dandrea Margaret

Not only does Dandrea remind us how exciting Dolce Mia is for most consumers, the raffle strategy she describes begs to be lifted into the setting of your parties and events and other retail outlets. Foster a fun atmosphere wherever you are talking Dolce Mia, and the experience for your customer of our product, and of you yourself as a Dolce Mia Designer Rep will always be sparkling.

Challenge:

Games have a way of brightening our lives instantly. The experience of a fun game is one of the valuable things you can always give to your customers. Take a cue from Dandrea and come up with one way to integrate a fun giveaway into your marketing plan this coming week. Remember, it’s not about what people get, how big the pot, as it is how enjoyable the experience. Deliver a great ride and the prize is won by all.
